Recognition of Prior Learning
RPL assesses skills you already have. It removes unnecessary repeat study, but it still requires sufficient, authentic and current evidence.
We compare your work history with the units in a relevant qualification.
Your adviser helps identify useful photos, references, invoices and work records.
A qualified assessor reviews the evidence and may hold a competency conversation.
When competency is successfully demonstrated, the partner RTO can issue the qualification.
RPL is not an automatic certificate purchase. Your evidence must meet the qualification requirements and be assessed by a partner Registered Training Organisation.
Timeframes vary based on the complexity of your evidence, the specific qualification and RTO capacity. An FMC adviser can give you a clearer, personalised estimate after your free eligibility check.
An assessor may ask for additional evidence or hold a competency conversation to clarify gaps. This is a normal part of a genuine assessment, not a failure — your adviser can help you understand what else may help.
