These terms govern your use of the FMC — Find My Certificate website and RPL pathway guidance service.
FMC — Find My Certificate provides guidance on Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) pathways and connects visitors with partner Registered Training Organisations (RTOs). FMC is not itself an RTO and does not issue AQF qualifications. Qualifications are issued only by partner RTOs following a successful, independent competency assessment.
Completing our eligibility assessment, speaking with an FMC adviser, or providing evidence does not guarantee that you will be assessed as competent for a qualification, or that a state or territory regulator will grant you a trade licence. Outcomes depend on the sufficiency of your evidence and the requirements of the assessing RTO and relevant regulator.
You agree to provide accurate information when using this website, our eligibility assessment, or when communicating with FMC advisers. You are responsible for ensuring any evidence you submit for assessment is genuine and belongs to you.
A nationally recognised qualification obtained through RPL may support a state trade licence application, but does not automatically grant a licence. Your state or territory regulator (for example NSW Fair Trading, the QBCC, the VBA, Building and Energy WA, or CBS SA) makes licensing decisions independently, based on its own current requirements.
To the extent permitted by Australian law, FMC is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this website or reliance on general information provided on it. Nothing in these terms limits any consumer guarantee that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
These terms are governed by the laws of Australia.
